CND Day 2 – Plenary Statement by Bolivia on regional and interregional cooperation

Speaking on behalf of GRULAC, the speaker outlined regional programmes that have yielded results in the area including the establishment of a single information centre so that traffickers can be more easily identified across borders. The speaker urged governments to establish an inter-agency response to securing maritime container terminals. Last year, a programme was kicked off to prevent the diversion of precursors. This has strengthened the administrative capacities of participating states to prevent diversion.
