CND day 2 - The Committee of the Whole adopts resolution on drug trafficking

Resolution E/CN.7/2010/L.5 “Strengthening national capacities in the administration and disposal of property confiscated in cases of illicit drug trafficking and related offences” was adopted after Argentina provided a new wording for para.4: ‘Invites member states to consider, consistent with their domestic legislation, the possibility of using confiscated resources to support the activities of law enforcement agencies and agencies improving inter alia those specialising in the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts’.
